For every card you buy your chosen charity will receive a donation of 10p, under a formal royalty agreement with each charity, in accordance with the Charities Act 1992. As the Charity does not incur any cost in production or promotion of these cards all of the money donated goes directly to the charities work. Below is our selection of national charities which you can support. Alternatively you may nominate a registered charity of your own choice, subject to that charity’s consent.

Mencap

Over one million people in the UK have a learning disability. For over 50 years Mencap has provided them and their families with support, advice and a variety of vital services. Mencap is committed to enabling them to reach their full potential and to achieve their personal goals. RSPCA

The primary objectives of the RSPCA are to promote kindness and to prevent or suppress cruelty to animals. To help us to do this we have teams of Inspectors, veterinary surgeons, nurses and ambulance collection officers all fighting cruelty 365 days a year. The RSPCA is the only animal welfare charity that works with all animals. It is supported entirely by voluntary donations and receives no state or lottery aid.

Prince's Trust

The Prince’s Trust is a national charity working with young people facing barriers in their lives. This includes young people leaving care, those who have dropped out of school or had a brush with the law and young people who are unemployed. Our mission is to provide our target clients with the opportunity to get their lives working. We help over 100 young people each day and need to raise £1m each week to achieve this. Leukaemia Research Fund

Leukaemia Research is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers and disorders including leukaemia, Hodgkin's and other lymphomas, and myeloma.
110,000 people, children and adults alike, are living with these cancers today. 24,500 people are newly diagnosed with one of these conditions every year. We are committed to giving every one of them the best chance of survival. Our scientists and doctors work in over fifty top research centres across the UK. They are seeking to improve diagnosis of blood disorders and treatments for patients, and to find a cure for blood cancers.
We also support patients, their families and friends by providing them a free information service including a range of over 40 publications.

Heart Research UK

National Heart Research Fund provides a lifeline for research into prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease: gives practical help and rehabilitation to those with, or vulnerable to heart disease or related complaints. Research studies are currently being undertaken throughout the UK to improve the quality of life of people with angina, heart failure, diabetes and heart disease. High priorities are improvements in surgical techniques to benefit patients needing heart transplant, heart bypass and children with congenital heart problems. Lifestyle projects are funded to help prevent risk factors for heart disease.

CLIC Sargent

Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last for up to three years.

As the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support from the point of diagnosis through to survivorship or bereavement; our aim is to ease some of the burdens that this brings. Our support extends to children aged 0-24 years and their families.
