For every card you buy your chosen charity will receive a donation of 10p, under a formal royalty agreement with each charity, in accordance with the Charities Act 1992. As the Charity does not incur any cost in production or promotion of these cards all of the money donated goes directly to the charities work. Below is our selection of local charities which you can support. Alternatively you may nominate a registered charity of your own choice, subject to that charity’s consent. Don’t forget that many of our National Charities also do much work in the regions.

One third of all disabled people and their carers never get to take a break, which can cause enormous strain on both the carer and the cared for. Each year, Vitalise provides 8,000 holidays for disabled people and breaks for their carers. It is the UK’s only charity, offering disabled people a choice of holiday activities with 24 hour nursing care on call. Skylarks is one of five purpose built holiday centres run by the Vitaliset. Located in Nottingham, Skylarks offers a wide range of activities, day trips, evening entertainment and nursing care for all its disabled guests.
